Patti Ratcliffe is a contemporary impressionistic artist whose colorful canvases reflect her passion for design and mark-making. Patti has lived in Charlotte, NC since an early age and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After college, Patti pursued a career in graphic design and ran a successful business, Ratcliffe Design, for more than 30 years.

Her interest in fine art began when her mother enrolled her in private art lessons at the age of thirteen. This early exposure inspired her love of art and provided her the curiosity and confidence to continue making art in later years.

Combining painting with her love of travel, she enjoys searching for that perfect landscape, striking color, or play of light in the late afternoon to capture in her next piece.
Though her formal training is minimal, her interest and passion for painting have propelled her career. Patti is married with three nearly-grown children and now works independently as a full-time artist.
